An unstoppable army is kicking off a statewide crusade against breast cancer. On September 26, 2024, PINK Breast Center at ImageCare Radiology unleashes its 3rd annual #EverythingElseCanWait street campaign, a battle cry echoing through New Jersey: “Breast cancer doesn’t wait— everything else can.”

From dawn to dusk, a fierce brigade, including cancer survivors, will storm 20 NJ cities. This Army of PINK’s mission is to rally NJ citizens, especially women of color in underserved communities, and equip them with awareness, support, and early detection weapons.

The campaign blazes a trail across New Jersey, with official city presentations in Jersey City, Paterson, Linden, and West Orange and impactful stops in Passaic, Clifton, East Orange, Newark, Elizabeth, Irvington, Bloomfield, Perth Amboy, and Woodbridge.

This campaign aims to ignite a spark of empowerment in every individual it touches, both women and men. Breast Cancer Warriors shared their stories of triumph at each stop, inspiring others to join the ranks in this critical fight.

More than a tour—it’s a full-scale invasion against the silent enemy that is breast cancer. In communities facing the harshest realities of breast cancer disparities, this PINK stands ready to break down barriers and inspire and educate.

The message is clear: We’re ready to fight, and together, we’re unstoppable.

Andreia Santos-Lima, CEO of ImageCare Radiology, said the campaign helped stress the importance of preventative care and inform women about ImageCare’s AI-powered 3D mammography technology.

“Getting your yearly mammogram is one of the best things you can do to catch potential ailments early,” she said. “Our campaign served as a reminder to women that their health can’t wait.”
