ImageCare is seeking a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our Newton office. This position will support the Physicians and Technologists in providing quality professional and knowledgeable medical care to our patients.
**The Hours will be 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills interacting with patients as well as the following additional requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education as a Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner including the following certifications:
- Physician Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- 5+ years of related experience and/or training
Responsibilities of the Physician’s Assistant/Nurse Practitioner include:
- Triaging patients and preparing them for exams
- Call patients, pharmacies, labs, and other physicians on behalf of ImageCare
- Assist Anesthesiologists with patients that have undergone sedation procedures
- Functioning in the capacity of a para-professional
