With more room around patients, an Open MRI machine can accommodate a wide variety of body types comfortably. Our open MRI’s body-weight capacity allows us to scan many larger patients with ease. The open design of our Hitachi Airis Elite open MRI helps patients who experience mild claustrophobia without sacrificing the diagnostic accuracy of images taken. In addition, an open MRI is an excellent choice for patients that need additional supervision throughout the process. We find that our patients enjoy the increased peace of mind that comes from the comfort and freedom that this less-restrictive imaging experience provides.
